2018 Santenay Blanc

The 2018 Santenay Blanc is a little broody at first, gradually opening with scents of Granny Smith apples and a whiff of chalk dust. It has a slightly waxy texture, fine acidity and a slightly spicy if perhaps rather short finish. This is a well-crafted Santenay Blanc, one that I would broach over the next five or six years.
