Score 79/100 · Robert Parker, Dec 1993
I found the 1991 Vosne-Romanee lean, malnourished, and hard. The daughters of the late Georges Mugneret appear to have made better 1991s than 1990s. The colors are deeper, and the wines' richness and concentration of fruit are more evident, no doubt because of the tiny yields. A Peter Vezan selection, various importers, including Ideal Wines & Spirits, Medford, Ma., Wine Imports, San Francisco, CA., Barrique Wine, Chicago, IL., and The Wine Company, Minneapolis, MN.
