Tasting notes
A beautiful Chardonnay that has a classical, Burgundian feel in its lemon curd, white flowers and buttered citrus aromas and flavors, the 2011 Alesia Chardonnay Alder Springs Vineyard is medium-bodied, juicy and balanced, with a rounded, rich and supple texture. It's well-made and geared for drinking over the coming year or two.

The 2011 Chardonnay Alder Springs is a pretty, entry-level offering from the team at Alesia/Rhys. Hints of white peach, pear and flowers flow through to the graceful, understated close.
Green-tinged gold. Complex aromas of pear, iodine, white flowers and smoky peat. Densely packed, spicy and focused, with very good energy to its orchard fruit, mineral and chamomile flavors. This deep but lively chardonnay finishes firm and smoky, with a lingering note of candied ginger.
