Bright, pale yellow. Peach, minerals and nut oils on the expressive nose. Juicy and brisk, with terrific vivacity, but less rich than the Quintessence. Offers an enticing combination of ripeness and acidity. Very firmly built and uncompromisingly dry. In fact, today this comes across as less expressive and less fleshy than the Quintessence.

Sleek and creamy and very, very powerful. Racy and layered. Dense and dry, yet rich. Rather wild – much more characterful than the Corton-Charlemagne. Really very exciting. Pretty impressive! Bravo! (JR)

Subdued aromas of peach, nutmeg and nut oil. Sweet on entry, then sappy and stylish, with lovely peach and apple flavors framed by firm acids and complemented by spicy oak. More about finesse then density. These vines are located right next to Pucelles.
