Tasting notes
Entirely made from the Pommard clone on dry-farmed vines, the 2022 Pinot Noir Shea Vineyard Block 23 is a bright ruby/magenta hue and offers notes of ripe wild raspberries, candied roses, stony earth, and delicate, well-integrated spices. Medium-bodied and well-defined, it has ripe, fine tannins, refreshing acidity, and a lovely finish with a good deal of length and a lovely note of orange. This is another very appealing wine from Shea to drink over the next 10 years.

The 2022 Pinot Noir Shea Vineyard Block 23 smolders up from the glass with hints of cola, shavings of dark chocolate, cedar and dried black cherries. Silken and pliant, it displays elegant waves of ripe red and blue fruits that flow beneath an air of violet inner florals. Nuanced tannins linger along with a pleasantly bitter twang as this tapers off with medium length and freshness.
