Tasting notes
From the Dubay vineyard. Pale ruby. A whiff of reduction on the nose with red cherry and celery salt. Impactful palate. Spicy and lively but lithe, not viscous or dense. This wine is very tense. Linear acidity. Opens more and more and gets earthier and broader. Violets on the finish. Needs more time. (SCJ)

The 2019 Pinot Noir Stonecreek is pristine with cherry liqueur, fresh leather, layers of herbs, and delicate pine spice. It has great purity on the palate, with notes of cherry candy, wet stone, and warming spice. This needs more time, but it is full of energy and will be great to check back in on. 100 cases. Drink 2025-2035.
Vivid ruby. An intensely perfumed bouquet evokes blueberry, Chambord, cherry cola, licorice and floral oil qualities and takes on mineral and exotic spice nuances as the wine opens up. Stains the palate with alluringly sweet red and blue fruit liqueur, rhubarb, mocha and candied violet flavors that deftly marry richness to vivacity and show no rough edges. Shows outstanding detail and energy on the incisive finish, which features slowly building tannins and resonating floral and spice notes.
