Barrel fermented and aged in 50% new French oak, the 2016 Chardonnay from Oakville Ranch Vineyard has a terrific perfume of white flowers, orange blossom, Meyer lemon, and honeysuckle. This carries to a beautifully pure, elegant, yet powerful Chardonnay that has lots of fruit and texture, bright acidity, and a great finish. This beauty builds with time in the glass, has remarkable purity, and a singular character. It’s a classic Napa Valley Chardonnay to drink over the coming 4-5 years.

The 2016 Chardonnay has a nose of ripe apples, guava and green mango with touches of cedar, baking bread and aniseed. Medium-bodied with soft acid and a good core of concentrated fruit, it finishes with lingering cedar and spiced apple notions.
