Tasting notes
Vinified with 20% whole clusters and matured for 10 months in 40% new French oak, the 2019 Pinot Noir San Saba Vineyard has a pale garnet color and lush aromas of red cherries, bergamot, forest floor, aniseed and cured meats. The medium-bodied palate has a core of pleasantly broody fruit, loads of Angostura-like accents, fireworks of fresh acidity and a long, ultra-spicy finish. 378 cases were made.

Glistening magenta. Displays an array of fresh red fruit, blood orange, floral and exotic spice aromas that are complemented by smoky mineral, vanilla and incense nuances. Stains the palate with finely detailed, spice-laced redcurrant, cherry-cola and raspberry flavors that show superb depth with no excess fat. Turns sweeter on the strikingly long finish, which shows outstanding tenacity, harmonious tannins and repeating red fruit, spice and floral notes. 20% whole clusters and 40% new French oak.
