2021 Ecluse Wines Zinfandel Lock Vineyard

The 2021 Zinfandel opens with a cascade of sweet blue- and purple-toned flowers accentuating peppery wild berries and spice. It's racy with cooling acidity and ripe wild berry fruits, while a tinge of sour citrus adds lovely contrast toward the close. Only gently tannic and incredibly long and spicy, the 2021 finishes remarkably fresh with a resonant note of licorice. Nicely done.
