This is so fruity and juicy with dried berry and hints of walnuts. Medium to full body, bright and lively. Real dolcetto. Drink now.

The 2015 Dolcetto d'Alba opens to a very fruity bouquet with ripe cherry and raspberry on prominent display. The wine offers immediate appeal and dark cherry that spills over into tilled earth and button mushroom. The Dolcetto grape doesn't offer much tannic support, but this wine offers noticeable firmness nonetheless. This was not an easy vintage for Dolcetto, but the winemaking team at the Giacosa winery took extra steps to safeguard the integrity of the fruit.
