Score 90/100 · Drink 2014-2022, Jeb Dunnuck, Wine Advocate, Dec 2014
Showing better from bottle than barrel, the 2012 Cornas is outstanding. Seeing 16-18 months in 50% new barrels, it offers lots of Cornas style in its saddle leather, herbs, spice and sweet black cherry and black raspberry fruit profile. Coming from the Chez Favier lieu-dit and 70-year-old vines, drink this medium to full-bodied, supple, balanced Cornas over the coming 7-8 years.
