Score 89/100 · Drink 2025-2032, Neal Martin, Aug 2025
The 2022 Mourvèdre Far Side offers brambly dark berry fruit mixed with cola and white pepper on the nose, laconic at first but opening nicely with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with refined tannins, harmonious with dark chocolate-tinged red fruit, hints of garrigues coming through on the finish that beckon you back for more. A commendable take on the variety.
