I think a step back from the straight Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate (83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Malbec and 7% Petit Verdot) is supple and forward, with charming notes of cassis, licorice, graphite and chunky oak. Medium to full-bodied, nicely textured and enjoyable, drink it over the coming 4-6 years.

Saturated ruby. Smoke-accented aromas of blackberry and candied flowers pick up a hint of licorice and vanilla in the glass. Juicy red and dark fruit flavors gain sweetness and flesh with air while maintaining vivacity. Packs a solid punch but comes off as quite lithe, finishing with strong cut, very good persistence and smooth tannins that provide grip.
