2006 Chasseur Pinot Noir Freestone Station

Dark red. Youthfully brooding aromas of cherry and dark berries. Densely packed blackberry and bitter cherry flavors are slow to unfold, eventually offering spicier red fruit qualities and good spicy cut. The finish leaves chewy dark fruit notes behind and packs a solid punch. This needs decanting, or bottle aging.
