Tasting notes
A small but clear step up in overall class with a very stylish nose of ripe dark berry fruit, underbrush, crushed herb and warm earth notes that complement perfectly the round, supple and almost delicately textured medium full flavors that possess a surprising amount of power and punch, all wrapped in a moderately well-structured and long finish that also has the barest trace of bitterness to it. My score assumes that this will round out with a few years in bottle.

Broad and very ripe. Extremely seductive on the front palate with quite a bit of bite on the finish. There’s lots here and this wine is certainly more concentrated than the other offerings from this domaine. Just not quite rich enough for an outstanding score. (JR)
