2023 Rombauer Sauvignon Blanc

Just off the bottling line at the time of my visit, Rombauer's 2023 Sauvignon Blanc is roughly three-fourths from Sonoma and one-fourth from Napa. Mainly fermented and aged in stainless steel, there's also 10% done in older French oak and a tiny proportion (2%) done in concrete. It boasts punchy aromas of passion fruit and grapefruit, with riper notes of fig and guava. In the mouth, it's medium-bodied across the mid-palate, then lean and citrusy on the finish.
