Tasting notes
Another gorgeous wine, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve just about jumps out of the glass with its complex aromatics of plums, darker cherries, iron, lavender, and almost garrigue-like character. These carry to a full-bodied, round, lush, incredibly sexy 2019 that's perfect drinking any time over the coming 15-20 years.

Iron, herbs, dried meat and blackberries on the nose, together with tapenade and oyster shell. Rich and deep on the palate, with vivid dried herbs that linger through the finish. Chalky tannins here, almost dusty, with pumice and roasted herbs that add a fine touch of bitterness at the end. Drink or hold.
The 2019 Napa Valley Reserve is plump, juicy and easy to like. Juicy red cherry, plum, tobacco, chocolate, earthiness menthol and licorice add layers of complexity to this vibrant blend of Cabernets from Georges III and Red Hen. The 2019 has plenty to offer, it just needs a few years to shed some of its youthful tannin.
