Tasting notes
A blend of the favorite blocks (14 and 18) of the estate vineyard and 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Revelation is another wine from Sam Teakle that flirts with perfection. Awesome cassis, graphite, crushed rocks, and Pauillac-like lead pencil notes all flow to a full-bodied, deep, sexy Cabernet Sauvignon that has sweet tannin, no hard edges, and a blockbuster finish. As with the Harmonie cuvée, it’s going to keep for 10-15 years or more. Aside from a relatively non-descript Sauvignon Blanc, these are all brilliant wines from winemaker Sam Teakle.

The 2015 Révélation, Captûre's 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, is laced with the essence of lavender, spice, violet, mint and inky fruit. This mid-weight, gracious Cabernet Sauvignon is quite refined, especially within the context of the vintage.
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Revelation offers expressive black cherries, black berries and cassis with touches of eucalypt, chocolate box and graphite. It's medium-bodied, fresh and exuberant with a firm, chewy structure and an earthy finish. Only 219 cases were made.
