Score 88/100 · Drink 2018-2022, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Jul 2018
The 2015 Pinot Noir Marine Layer is delicate and high-toned in feel, with good aromatic presence that lifts the red cherry and raspberry fruit. It would be nice to see a bit more mid-palate depth, but the 2015 is nicely rendered just the same.

The pale ruby-purple colored 2015 Pinot Noir Marine Layer has a lifted nose of potpourri and rose petals with a core of kirsch, red currants and pomegranate plus wafts of rhubarb and fertile loam. The medium-bodied palate is finely crafted with soft, silky tannins and oodles of freshness, finishing long and earthy. 400 cases produced.
