Tasting notes
Ripe blackberries, blueberries, peppery herbs, game, iron, and lavender notes all emerge from the 2020 Syrah Rockgarden Vineyard, a beautifully textured, medium to full-bodied, concentrated Syrah with tons of character. With ripe yet integrated tannins, plenty of mid-palate depth, and a great finish, it's a seriously good 2020 Syrah that can be drunk today with incredible pleasure or cellared for 10-15 years.

Smoky and earthy in the glass, the 2020 Syrah Rock Garden Estate lifts up with a burst of crushed blackberries, grilled herbs, bacon fat and dark chocolate. This is racy and sleek, holding its minerality up front, as ripe red berries come forward, along with hints of white pepper. The 2020 tapers off salty and savory, yet it keeps the mouth watering for more. This is deceptively easy to love today, but it is sure to improve through cellaring.
