Score 92-93/100 · Drink 2018-2028, Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate, Aug 2016
From vines planted in 1954, the 2015 Pinot Noir Buntsandstein Landwein Oberrhein is perfectly ripe and nobly intense on the nose, but also precise and fresh, with flinty aromas and a remarkable purity. Intense and elegant, with a silky texture, this is a concentrated, yet pure and powerful Pinot with a long and refreshing finish and very fine tannins. This is a great Pinot Noir with serious tannins. Total production: three barriques.
