Score 94/100 · Drink 2022-2037, Jeb Dunnuck, Feb 2022

The 2015 Cornas is a terrific, old school Cornas, offering a piercing, perfumed array of red and blue fruits, candied violets, ground pepper and scorched earth. While it starts out incredibly lifted and slightly volatile, it builds beautifully with time in the glass and shows more density, depth, and richness with air. Medium to full-bodied and concentrated on the palate, it has ripe yet firm tannins, terrific balance, and one heck of a great finish. It's just pure, old school Cornas goodness that's going to continue to offer pleasure for another 15 years or so.
