Based on 76% Syrah and 24% Graciano raised in 40% new French oak, the 2017 Le Devoir sports a healthy purple/plum color as well as a spicy, modern bouquet of ripe blackberries, blackcurrants, spicy oak, ground pepper, and smoked game. This full-bodied beauty has a stunning mouthfeel, ripe, polished tannins, and a great, great finish. It ranks with the top Syrah blends in the vintage and should evolve for at least 7-8 years.
