Tasting notes
A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot, the 2024 La Tour de By offers up aromas of spices, lead pencil and dark berries, suggesting a more austere, shy bouquet than usual. Moderately weighted, structured and firm, it concludes with a short, oaky finish.

The 2024 La Tour de By is laced with blackberry, chocolate, spice and copious sweet oak. It shows good depth, but a slightly oxidative note in the bouquet suggests this sample is less than perfect.
The 2024 La Tour de By has a light bouquet with brambly red fruit giving way to touches of tobacco and mocha. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly crunchy tannins, but there is an appealing classicism to this Médoc with freshness on the finish. Enjoy over five to six years.
Cherries, menthol, and a touch of licorice fill the core of this wine. The medium-bodied palate is bright, forward, and fruity, though short in the finish.
