2020 Cami Pesseroles

I also tasted the 2020 Camí Pesseroles single-vineyard Garnacha and Cariñena bottling next to the 2019. In 2020, they only saved an old "coster" (a steeply sloped vineyard without terraces) and produced no more than 180 bottles of a dark and concentrated wine made of 80% Cariñena and 20% Garnacha. It's earthy and powerful, with concentration and intensity and plenty of tannin. This has 15% alcohol, whereas the 2019 has 13.5%... Very different wines. This is almost a virtual wine, as they will not be able to supply most of their customers.
