Coming from Stag’s Leap, Oak Knoll and Diamond Mountain, the 2014 Merlot Platinum has a deep garnet color with a touch of purple and a nose of baked plums and mulberries with hints of dried herbs, earth and cloves. Medium to full-bodied, it has a soft, plush, richly fruited palate with pleasant freshness and some spice notes of the finish.
