2008 Syrah Boxcar

Vivid ruby. Highly aromatic nose displays dark berries, woodsmoke, dark chocolate, olive and a hint of violet. Then sweet and juicy on the palate, with sappy dark berry and floral character. Tangy acidity adds cut to a long, clean, floral-accented finish. This is quite good for an entry-level wine.
