Tasting notes
Brand's 2015 Brio is a dark, plush wine. Dense, rich and super-sized, even by Napa Valley standards, the Brio delivers serious intensity from start to finish. The black cherry, mocha, chocolate, espresso, plum and spice flavors are all amped up to the maximum. Although there is not much in the way of subtlety, Brio will certainly please readers who enjoy lush wines.

A blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot, the very deep purple-black colored 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Brio has a lovely crème de cassis, warm plums and baked cherries-scented nose with hints of spice box and underbrush. Full-bodied, rich, voluptuous, open knit and plush, it finishes long and spicy. 794 cases were made.
