Tasting notes
Coming from a cooler site in Yountville, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Sleeping Lady Vineyard is all Cabernet aged 20 months in 60% new French oak. It has a ripe, slightly lifted, exotic style in its black cherry and bluer fruits, violets, candied orange, and rocky mineral-like aromas and flavors. These carry to a medium to full-bodied, concentrated, slightly firm, focused wine that will benefit from 3-4 years of bottle age. 250 cases.

Lovely aromas of dark fruit, such as blackberries, together with mint, violets and graphite. Full-bodied and layered with freshness and brightness and a long finish. Solid Napa here.
The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Sleeping Lady Vineyard is a rich, heady wine. Plush fruit and silky contours give the 2019 tons of immediacy and overall appeal. A burst of jammy dark red fruit, spice, rose petal and mint gives the 2019 its exuberant, racy personality. Bright floral notes and insistent, yet well-integrated tannins support the finish. (AG)
Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Sleeping Lady Vineyard erupts with impressively intense notes of blackberry pie, stewed black cherries and cassis, plus wafts of fragrant earth and bouquet garni. Full-bodied, it has finely grained, plush tannins and a refreshing backbone supporting the generous black and blue fruit, finishing with a lively skip in its step.
