Good ruby-red. Vibrant aromas of redcurrant, tobacco, licorice, graphite and menthol; very Oakville. Sweet, lush and dense, with the creamy, almost three-dimensional texture of the finest California cabernets. The redcurrant, graphite and tobacco flavors offer terrific energy and class. Best of all on the back end, which features noble, rich tannins and outstanding subtle persistence.

Good full ruby-red. Superb, very dark aromas of cassis, blackberry, violet and menthol. Thick, supple and sweet, offering outstanding intensity and texture. Wonderfully fleshy, classy cabernet with a mounting finish in which the ripe tannins are buried under a wave of dark fruit flavors. Will this top the '05?
