The 2018 Chardonnay Estate SeaBed is a magical wine, just as it was in barrel. Powerful and yet translucent, the 2018 is wonderfully deep and expressive, all while retaining a good deal of nuance. The SeaBed is the most savory/mineral of the Radio-Coteau Chardonnays. Old Wente clone Chardonnay is so distinctive here.

Radio-Coteau's 2018 Chardonnay Estate SeaBed, from the home vineyard, is a powerful, structured Chardonnay that at times is more suggestive of a red wine. Old Wente clone Chardonnays yield small clusters and small berries, and that intensity really comes through in the wine's feel. Orange peel, honey and light tropical overtones marry beautifully with its ample presence. This is a serious, rich Chardonnay that will truly come alive at the dinner table.
