Tasting notes
Planted in 2001, L'Huisserie is a two-hectare site sits at the end of the Chinon 'coteaux' on clay-flint. The 2019 is just a gorgeous offering. A rich, creamy mouthful of ripe Cabernet Franc. It's a little closed in terms of aroma but it's all in there just waiting to blossom - excellent concentration of fruit and density without heaviness - a mid-weight classic. This wine has a Concorde-like drive that keeps it going and going and carries the scent in waves long after you've tasted.

L'Huisserie is a two-hectare, clay-limestone vineyard at the end of the côteaux in the Chinon appellation. The 2019 shows excellent concentration and density. The texture is delectably supple with fine chalk-like tannins. While it offers piquant black fruit and savory nuances, it's slightly closed at this young stage. However, there's lots of goodness for those who are prepared to wait for it to open up. Long, scented, lengthy finish.
