2012 Alexana Pinot Noir Revana Vineyard

The 2012 Pinot Noir Revana Vineyard, matured in 37% new oak barrels, has an uncomplicated nose of blackberry and bilberry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, moderate weight in the mouth, a little conservative...perhaps what you might call a "considered" Pinot Noir but with decent length. Though cheaper, I find as much pleasure here as in the "Pinot Noir Signature."
