2021 Quinta de Cabriz Colheita Seleccionada Branco

The 2021 Branco Colheita Selecionada Cabriz is a blend of 40% Encruzado, 20% Bical, 20% Malvasia Fina and 20% Cerceal Branco, unoaked, dry and coming in at 12.4% alcohol. This shows relatively good body, unctuous texture and a fruit-forward demeanor. The whole package makes it seem more substantial than it might seem on paper. It is not exactly in the light-and-bright style with an ethereal feel. It has substance, surprisingly rich texture and the fruit delivers plenty of flavor on the finish. This tasty white shows well overall. Just drink it on the younger side.
