Score 87/100 · Drink 1992-2000, Robert Parker, Oct 1992
The wines of this famed domaine, long known for its classic old style burgundies, do indeed improve with cellaring. The Domaine Roumier made some of the finest 1988s and their 1990s range from excellent to outstanding. The Morey St.-Denis-Bussiere, an exclusive of this domaine, exhibits a deep, saturated dark ruby color, a broad nose of earthy black-cherries and minerals, ripe, medium-bodied flavors, and a smooth, ripe, gentle, long finish. Drink it over the next 7-8 years. Importer: Chateau and Estates, New York, NY.
