Tasting notes
Coming from the estate property, the 2015 Chardonnay McIntyre Estate Vineyard is similarly colored to the Santa Lucia Highlands release yet has more going for it, with lively buttered citrus, flower oil, hints of minerality and spice, medium-bodied richness, vibrant acidity and clean finish. Drink this juicy, lively beauty anytime over the coming 4-5 years, and it might keep even longer.

The 2015 Chardonnay Estate has a lovely lemon curd, fresh grapefruit and spiced apple-scented nose with touches of baking bread and coriander seed. Medium-bodied, satiny textured and with lovely freshness, it delivers a good intensity of apple and citrus notes with a soft, creamy finish.
Bright yellow. Pear nectar, vanilla, honey and a hint of toasty lees on the pungent nose. Supple and broad in the mouth, offering concentrated orchard and pit fruit flavors braced by a hint of refreshingly bitter lemon pith. Finishes smooth and smoky, featuring repeating pear and lees notes and a touch of candied citrus fruit.
