Tasting notes
930 cases made. Pale garnet with some brick tones. Roasted, grilled meat tones to aromatics of beetroot, cinnamon and clove oak and chilli spice. On the palate, bright acidity, spice, chocolate and some cherry. Light, ripe tannins. Moderate length, with a bit of alcohol burn. (TJ)

25% stems and 25% new oak. Vineyard at 450 m on older soils. Sweet, ripe hedgerow fruit. Super-smooth tannins, more rounded than many I have tasted today, as if there is no grain to them. Polished. Savoury on the palate and nicely firm and dry even though the tannins are so supple. Fresh and mouth-watering on the finish. Delicious. (JH)
Pale ruby colored, the 2012 Pinot Noir displays notes of mulberries, red cherries and pomegranate with game and baking spice accents. In the mouth if offers a good intensity of lively berry and savory flavors and finely grained tannins, going long in the finish with nice spiciness.
