Very closed, a little too intrusive with the oak. Pretty firm tannins, very savoury. Not bad, but just not especially interesting. Standard. (RH)

Winemaker Arnaud Villette. 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 48% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot. Average age of the vines is 35 years. Grapes are traditionally vinified with temperature controlled fermentation. Part of the wine is aged in French oak for 18 months (25% new). I should look up my earlier tasting note! Firm and silky and confident. Dry finish. (JR)

Dark purple. Evolved, rather vegetal wine. Correct and smooth but not very vital. Dead, rather bloody finish. Very chewy finish. (JR)
