2007 Zaca Mesa Z Three

A blend 0f 49% Syrah, 31% Mourvedre, and 20% Grenache that spent a total of 21 months in 50% new French oak, the 2007 Zaca Mesa Z Three is a full flavored Red that carries decadent plum and blackberry styled fruits, licorice, beef jerky, tar, and smoke aromas and flavors. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, with a super rich, concentrated mid-palate, notable balance, and an overall mouth filling, chewy feel, this outstanding blend is delicious now, yet has the density and balance to age gracefully for upwards of a decade. It improves over the evening so decant if drinking anytime soon.
