Not yet bottled, the 2018 WCS Jack John is based on 88% Grenache and 12% Graciano that spent 14 months in a mix of concrete and neutral and 500-liter barrels. This pretty, elegant style of Grenache has lots of strawberry and raspberry fruit as well as plenty of floral notes, medium to full body, beautiful fruit, and a great finish. This was the finest lineup I’ve tasted from Jada, which is run by Joshua Harp. Harp is aided by Eric Jensen and Tony Biagi, and this is an estate unquestionably on the uptick.
