Tasting notes
Myriad's 2017 Syrah Las Madres Vineyard Whole Cluster is a real stunner. Star anise, mint, blood orange, spice and new leather give the 2017 a real sense of exoticism that is impossible to miss. Bright, punchy and full of character, the 2017 hits all the right notes. The whole cluster influence is strong but also very nicely balanced.

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2017 Syrah Whole Cluster Las Madres Vineyard leaps from glass with bold notes of candied violets, plum preserves, blueberry compote and cracked black pepper with hints of hoisin, cardamom and licorice plus a waft of bacon fat. Full-bodied, firm and with bold freshness, the soft palate offers rounded tannins and a long savory finish.
