Saturated red. Sexy aromas of red and dark berries, candied cherry and Asian spices. Fleshy, gently sweet raspberry and blackberry flavors are concentrated and surprisingly nervy, with good back-end lift and cut. Finishes on a sweet note, with very good clarity and length.

The 2006 Pinot Noir Dundee Hills was aged in 20% new French oak. It is dark ruby-colored with an alluring bouquet of spice box, smoke, black cherry, and black raspberry. This is followed by a silky-textured, layered wine with good depth, succulent flavors, and a friendly personality. Drink this lengthy effort over the next four years. Tel.
