Score 90/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, May 2014
(13.5% alcohol; 50% new French oak): Good medium red. Ripe strawberry and cola spices are lifted by a high note of lavender. Concentrated, pliant and chewy, with lovely depth and restrained sweetness to the berry and Asian spice flavors. Finishes with dusty, fine-grained tannins and good breadth. This pinot should go nicely with Peking duck.
