Score 89/100 · Drink 2007-2022, Robert Parker, Dec 2007

The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Wild Boar Vineyard, which comes from Pope Valley, is surprisingly civilized, as wines from here tend to be somewhat animal, rustic, and tannic. This is refined, with a deep ruby/purple color and sweet, smoky black currant fruit intermixed with some bay leaf/tobacco leaf and good, spicy oak. It should drink nicely for 10-15 years. Tel.
