From the same site, the tiny production 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Eternity is a vineyard selection that spent 22 months in 80% new French oak. It’s another smoking good wine from this team. More straight, elegant, and deep, with plenty of structure, it has classic black and blue fruits, violets, and pine forest-like aromas and flavors. With full body, terrific purity, and plenty of mountain tannins as well as concentration, hide bottles for 4-5 years and drink over the following 15-20. 85 cases. These Clark Claudon releases are made by the incredibly talented Jean Hoefliger and come from a vineyard located on the east side of Howell Mountain.
The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Eternity is a blend taken from two blocks off the property. Rich and ample on the palate, the Eternity has a lot to offer. Blackberry jam, chocolate, lavender, cloves and licorice are front and center in this sensual, enveloping Cabernet.
