Tasting notes
Ruby-red. Intensely spiced red and dark berry scents show wonderful precision and elegance. Suave, silky and packed with sweet berry flavors and plush, fully-integrated tannins. Finishes bright and juicy, with excellent length and a tangy berry skin note. "We really pushed the envelope here; we're talking late October harvesting," noted Officer.

The elegant 2005 Zinfandel Pietro’s Ranch reveals plenty of tart acidity in its elegant, medium-bodied personality. Lighter than most Carlisle wines, it is a fresh, more approachable Zinfandel to enjoy over the next 5-6 years.
