The 2014 Pinot Noir Fogstone Vineyard is another incredibly well made Pinot Noir from the Santa Lucia Highlands. Forward, easy drinking, charming and balanced, with ripe notes of black cherries, raspberries, underbrush and spice, it has ripe tannin and should keep for 4-5 years as well.

Vivid ruby. An array of ripe red dark fruit and floral scents are complemented by suggestions of cola and exotic spices. Sweet, seamless and expansive on the palate, offering sappy black raspberry and cherry cola flavors sharpened and given spine by juicy acidity. Plays richness off vivacity with a sure hand and finishes spicy and very long; supple tannins make a late appearance.
