Score 94/100 · Drink 2020-2050, Robert Parker, Dec 2016
A super selection of their best Cabernet Sauvignons includes the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Audentia Estate. This is a beauty, a classic example of this vintage, with sweet tannin (and lots of it), intense, full-bodied, concentrated fruit, blackcurrants and blackberry, some licorice, camphor and a long, long finish. This is another long-distance proposition to be put away for 4-5 years and drunk over the following three decades.

About the producer

Stag's Leap Wine Cellars
Warren Winiarski founded Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars in 1970 when he purchased the Stag’s Leap Vineyard in Napa’s Stags Leap District. The 1973 S.L.V. Cabernet Sauvignon – only the second vintage – won the famous 1976 Judgement of Paris blind tasting, rocketing the estate to fame.
