Quite rough and rustic with butterscotch flavours. Lots of obvious acidity at the moment with coarse texture. Something in common with the Kongsgaard Chardonnay: that same ambition for the long term and distance from local norms. (JR)

Bright pale yellow. Rather oaky aromas of pear, lemon, butterscotch, vanilla and cinnamon. Rich, ripe and sweet, with more harmonious acidity than the Ferrington bottling. Finishes with good persistence but seems a bit dried by the wood.
