A rating was given for this wine in the review, without a tasting note. I suppose it is no longer a secret that Helen Turley is the Martinelli winemaker.

Distinctly Burgundian aromas of roasted nuts, butterscotch, iodine, peach and oak char. Lush, fat and silky, with wonderful subtle sweetness of fruit. Quite densely packed, and impressively long on the palate. Clearly a bottling to watch.
About the producer

Martinelli
Martinelli is a Sonoma benchmark for vineyard-designate bottlings—wines built to highlight how strongly a single site can shape Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Zinfandel. Across the range, the focus stays consistent: small-production bottlings that feel distinctly tied to where they’re grown.
